Summary: During install users get an error stating that their CTL3D32.DLL is not valid for that version of Windows.

Symptom:

When you start the ViaDuct 32 program, this error message comes up:


Problem:

Some Windows and ViaDuct applications require a new version of Microsoft common controls. This error is actually a Microsoft error that they have not determined the cause for.

Solution:

Download the self-extracting file 40COMUPD.DLL to your system. Run it and reboot your system. This should solve the version compatibility problem that you are experiencing.
