Throughout an organization users run myViewpoint Standard Runtime to access their business intelligence. However myViewpoint Professional incorporates additional functionality and is used by an administrator to create, modify, execute and distribute personalized business intelligence to other myViewpoint users.

Users of myViewpoint Standard may only run those personalized queries (and view other desktops) that have been supplied to them by a myViewpoint Professional user, thereby controlling the queries they are able to execute, enforcing stringent corporate BI security.
